Dr. James Beretta is a Lincoln, Rhode Island native who earned his degree in osteopathic medicine from Southeastern University. He went on to complete his internship at Atlantic City Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He completed his Anesthesia residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he was Chief Resident. Dr Beretta also completed a fellowship in pain management at The Univ. of Mass Medical Center Worchester, Massachusetts. Dr. Beretta is board certified in Anesthesia and Pain Management.
He began practicing pain management in 1992. His practice focuses on interventional techniques, including injections, kyphoplasty procedures, and spinal cord stimulators, as well as worker’s compensation claims.
